Diablo 3 Gameplay Overview: Diablo III Toolbar: The basics haven't changed, the mana and health spheres have become iconic to Diablo games and have been included in Diablo 3 as well. However, gone is the quick potion menu, in its place is the quick menu for skill/spell selection. The orange line near the bottom is the experience bar and hasn't been changed from previous Diablo games. Gone however is the stamina bar. I never liked that thing anyways, who wants to walk when you can run. ![]() There are six available quick skill/spell slots (why not 10? I don't know). To the right of the skill/spell slots is the weapon attack type selection. Similar to how you can swap between weapon sets in the Lord of Destruction expansion, in Diablo 3 you can swap between attack types with a hotkey (default tab) or the mouse wheel. For example, the Barbarian can switch from standard attack against weak enemies such as Ghouls, and switch to the more powerful Bash attack against stronger opponents like Berserkers. |
