Diablo 3 Gameplay Overview: Diablo 3 Character Inventory Screen: The inventory screen is one of the moast important ones in the game since it's where you keep your hard earned loot. Many of the changes in Diablo 3 are cosmetic or organizational. However, Diablo fans will be glad to hear that they are now able to wear shoulder armor and greaves (leg armor). The slots directly underneath the weapons/armors screen appear to be reserved for scrolls and weapons. Below these are four sack icons - which could mean there are additional inventory screens available in Diablo 3. This sounds like a very good idea because it allows you to carry more stuff and would save time hauling loot back to town to sell. ![]() Item statistic displays have been modified somewhat. Instead of the old "normal attack", "fast attack" types, weapons are given a numerical value of how many attacks they can do per second. Their sale value is also immediately displayed at the bottom of the display, making it easy to pick out the most valuable weapons to pack away. The highlighted number in red is an easy way to compare overall effectiveness of weapons in terms of amount of damage done per second. This number is bascially total damage per hit (standard + enchanted) divided by hits per second. ![]() |
